Push-pull dynamometer, also called force gauge, is a mechanical measuring instrument used for thrust and pull testing. The push-pull force gauge is suitable for push-pull load testing in industries such as electronic appliances, light industrial textiles, construction hardware, lighters and ignition devices, fire-fighting equipment, pen-making, lock-making, fishing gear, power machinery, scientific research institutions and so on.
Push-pull force gauge can be divided into pointer force gauge and digital force gauge according to the display mode. The digital push-pull force gauge is a multifunctional push-pull load testing instrument with high precision. It can be applied to push-pull load test, insertion force test, destruction test, etc. of various products.
2-point calibration:
When not under any tension, adjust the reading to 0, and then use a weight equivalent to 80% of the range (for example, if the range is 10 kg, use an 8 kg weight) or a weight slightly larger than the tensile force of the material. Hang it under the material to be tested, and then hang the other end of the material to be tested. The tensile force of the material to be tested is the weight of the weight. At this time, the tensile value can be adjusted to the weight of the weight. In this way, the calibration is completed.
When the customers choose a digital force gauge, the range is the main thing that needs to be considered. If the diameter of your tested material is only one type, it is a better choice to let the manufacturer calibrate the force gauge exactly according to your material diameter when leaving the factory. If the difference in the diameter of your measured material is small, and your accuracy requirements are not particularly demanding, in this case, you can ask the manufacturer to calibrate the force gauge according to the median value of the material diameter.
